Obituary of Wanda Louise Etherton

Wanda Louise Etherton, age 77 of Chattanooga went to be with her Lord and Savior after a courageous battle with Pancreatic Cancer. She passed away at home surrounded by her Beloved Family.
Wanda was loved and was dearly loved by her seven children; twelve grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren and she will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She surrounded herself with anything orange and was an avid UT Vols fan. One of her favorite places was Cades Cove. She also loved trips to Florida and Hawaii to be close to the ocean. In the last weeks of her earthly life Wanda was blessed to visit the Grand Canyon on a special trip with her granddaughter Sherry. Her love of family, nature and all of God's creations was the central part of her life.
She was preceded in death by her husband Elbert Etherton; a sister, Glen Ella Bennett and a brother, William "Buster" Bilbrey.
She is survived by three daughters, Sharon (Paul) Walters of Hixson; Phyllis (Steve) Hundson of Whitwell and Rita (Allen) Pittman of Harrison; four sons, Roy (Peggy) Etherton of Dayton; Wayne (Yolanda) Etherton of Flintstone, GA; and Norman and Ricky Etherton both of Chattanooga; one sister, Mildred O' Brien of Chattanooga.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. CDT in the chapel with Minister Clint Etherton officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday 3-8 p.m. and Wednesday 8 until funeral time. Burial will be in McDowell Cemetery. Contributions can be made to American Cancer Society for Pancriatic Cancer Research. Condolences may be sent ot ReedFamilyFH@Bledsoe.net.
