Obituary of Jason Allen Thurman

Jason Allen Thurman, age 45, of Pikeville, TN, died Tuesday, January 18, 2022. He was of the Baptist faith. He loved welding, woodworking and anything outdoors. He loved his dogs, Ratchet and Aspen. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Wenton and Lucille Putnam; aunt, Virginia Clemons; uncle, Jerry Putnam; and niece, Gabby Blankenship. He is survived by his wife, Sadina Blankenship Thurman; parents, JoAnn and Gerald Reece and Randy and Nancy Thurman; all of Pikeville; father and mother in law, Billy Wade and Liz Blankenship; brothers, Jonathan (Samantha) Thurman, Jarrod Thurman and Joseph Thurman, all of Pikeville; brother and sister in law, Nick (Christy) Blankenship; grandparents, Hubert and Barbara Thurman of Pikeville; special nephew, Taylor Thurman of Pikeville; special niece, Blair Thurman of Pikeville; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Services will be held Sunday, January 23, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. CST in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in DeBord Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com.
