Esther Elizabeth "Ama" Nantt, age 99, passed away surrounded by her family on Friday, March 16, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Samuel Nantt. She spent many years as Housekeeper at Sequatchie General Hospital in Dunlap, TN. She enjoyed vegetable gardening and was able to provide healthy food for her family. She was trained in reflexology and helped many residents of the Sequatchie Valley.
She is survived by her three children, Sandra (Ken) Ramsey of Chattanooga, TN, Linda (Bill) Worth of Escanaba, MI, and Larry (Laura) Nantt of Dunlap, TN; grandchildren, Denise Nantt Pickett, Timothy David Worth, Crystal Lynn Ramsey and Angela Nicole Ramsey; and six great-grandchildren.
