Charles “Sawmill” Norman Hodge, age 76, of Spencer, TN, died Monday, September 20, 2021.
He was of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Eva Hodge; sisters, Lucille Haston and Frances Hitchcock; brothers, Beecher, Junior, Leon, Edward, James and Bill Hodge.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda Hodge of Spencer, TN; children, Charles Wayne (Sherry) Hodge of Spencer and Jessica (Joey) Rogers of Spencer, TN; grandchildren, Lanae Hodge, Brooke Hodge, Casey Thaxton and Clay Rogers; sister, Wilba Walker of McMinnville, TN; brothers, Bobby Hodge of Spencer, TN and Roger Hodge of Pikeville, TN; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 23, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. CDT in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Lonewood Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements are by Putnam-Reed Funeral Home, 1171 Main Street, Pikeville, TN. Visitation will be held Thursday, September 23, 2021 from 11:00 a.m.- 1:00 p.m. CDT.
