Lydia Naomi Ridge age 94 of Whitwell, TN died Sunday March 11, 2012 at NHC Nursing Home in Dunlap. Husband of 52 years, Lawrence Ridge; son Gary Wayne Ridge; infant son Jimmy Ridge; parents Nathaniel Barnett and Laura McClendon; brothers Bill (Nell) McClendon, Blutcher (Frankie) McClendon, Buck (Ava) McClendon, Bob (Bell) McClendon, Clarence (Bertha) McClendon, Doyle McClendon; and sister Dot (Donald) Bouchard preceded her in death Survivors include son Vernon (Martha) Ridge, Jasper, TN; daughters Linda Elliott, Ft. Walton Beach, FL, Crickett (Jimmy) Garren, Dunlap, TN ; daughter-in-law Martha (Gary) Ridge, Chattanooga; grandchildren Deidre (Lydell) Blue, Chattanooga, Sarah Garren and fiancé Brian Shoesmith Knoxville, Andy (Tonya) Ridge, Jasper, Matthew Alan Ridge, St. Elmo, Sheila Roddy, Chattanooga, Kim Nichols, Nashville, Al (Michelle) Stott, Missy (Timmy) Stoner, Johnny ( Karen) Robinson, Jackie ( Marchelle) Robinson all of Chattanooga; great- grandchildren Lindsey Ridge, Erica Ridge, Ava Grace Blue, Scott Hudson and fiancé Lisa, Elijah and Jasmine, Jake Roddy, Ashley Nero; sister Annie Ruth Collier, Soddy Daisy, TN; brother B. A. ( Mildred) McClendon, Glendale Arizona; sister-in-law Gladys McClendon Whitwell, TN; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. CDT in the funeral home chapel with Rev John Helenthall officiating. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com.
