Obituary of Charlotte Sue Burgess

Charlotte Burgess, age 82, of Pikeville, TN died Sunday, July 25, 2021. She attended Wheeler Hill Church of Christ. She loved farming, antiquing, fishing and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was very much a caregiver. She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Oscar Burgess; daughter, Patricia Redheffer; parents, Lorenzo Dow & Susie Belle Hancock Everett; brothers, Lonnie, Billy, Bobby and Larry Everett and sisters, Lila Bell, Geraldine and Diane Everett, Shirley Evitt, Mary McGowan, Jackie Morris, Maxine Allen and Annie Everett. She is survived by her children, Raynard (Angela) Burgess of Ohio, Charlene Swafford of Crossville, TN and Ronald (Wanda) Burgess of Pikeville, TN; grandchildren, Melanie Jean Swafford, Marcy (Chico) Moreno, Jericia Hayes, Nathaniel, Andrew, Zachary, Daniel, Eli, Mathew and Madison Burgess, Derek Keeter and Nacklas Redheffer; grand-grandchildren, Ixtaccihuatl Moreno, Goku Moreno, Aristotle (Ari) Moreno, Leam, Devin and Fayleigh Burgess and Judah Hayes, sisters, Linda Smith of Pikeville, Brenda Powell, Loudon, TN, Martha (Kay) McKechnie and Lydia (John) Griffith; and brother, Gary (Teressa) Everett of Pikeville, TN. Funeral services will be Thursday, July 29, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. CDT in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Beach Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at reedfamilyfh.com.
