Obituary of Megan Danielle Rainey

Megan Danielle Rainey, age 25, of Pikeville, TN, died Saturday, June 6, 2020. She was a 2013 graduate of Bledsoe County High School. She received her LPN at Tennessee College of Applied Technology and worked at Pikeville Clinic. She was preceded in death by her mother, Holli Gipson; grandfather, Dr. Bruce Gipson; grandmother, Karen Byrd; and uncle, Steven “Fathead” Gipson. She is survived by her father and mum, Jeff (Amie) Rainey of Pikeville; sisters, Rylee and Cree Reece; grandparents, Sam and Sylvia Rainey and Gene Sims; aunt and uncle, Samuel and Heather Rainey; special cousins, Ashton Rainey and Peyton Rainey; aunt and uncle, Denise and Jason Sims; cousins, Bethany and Caleb “Bubba” Sims; uncle, Marty Gipson; cousins, Kaitlyn, Caden and Hunter Gipson; and a host of special friends. Due to health concerns of the community, the family will hold a private funeral service Thursday, June 11, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. CDT in the funeral home chapel.
