John Michael "Mikey" Myers, age 66, of Pikeville, TN, died April 30, 2020 at Cumberland Medical Center.
He was of the Christian faith. He was an avid horseman. He loved riding, breaking and training horses and they have always been a big part of his life. He loved his family.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lewis Kenneth Myers; and nephew, Scott Myers.
He is survived by his mother, Betty H. Myers, of Pikeville, TN; brother, Larry (Cindy) Myers of Pikeville, TN; sisters, Judy (Bruce) Bayless of Pikeville and Debbie (Willis) Burgess of Crossville, TN; nieces and nephews, Davey (April) Burgess, Molly (Jesse) Frady, Brian (Kassie) Bayless and Joseph Bayless; and life-long friend, Johnny Sapp.
Due to Tennessee state guidelines concerning COVID 19, there will be a private service. Burial will be in Akin Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements are by Putnam-Reed Funeral Home, 1171 Main Street, Pikeville, TN.
