Obituary of Devota Louise Hitchcox

Devota Hitchcox, age 73, of Pikeville, TN died Sunday August 12, 2007. She was a member of the Brockdell Church of God and was preceded in death by her son, Teddy Allen Hitchcox; and parents, Jake and Bertha Myers.
She is survived by her husband, Alford Hitchcox, of Pikeville; two daughters, Shiron (Kenneth Richard) Harris, of Dayton, TN; and Karen (Steven) Flynn, of Knoxville, TN; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. CDT in the chapel with the Rev. Mitchell Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Cagle Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. CDT Monday. Arrangements by Putnam-Reed Funeral Home, Hwy 127 South, Pikeville, TN.
