Obituary of Eddie Albert Roberts

   Eddie Albert “Big Edd” Roberts, age 55, of Pikeville, Tennessee, died Wednesday, November 6, 2019.

   He was a member of First Southern Baptist Church and was employed at the Bledsoe County Prison in the Commissary.  He enjoyed from lifting heavy weights to lifting heavy fish.  He was an avid sports fan, especially Tennessee Vols and The Dodgers.

   He was preceded in death by his mother, Carolyn Roberts.

   He is survived by his daughter, Casey Mae Roberts; father, Albert Roberts; sisters, Vicki (Marvin) Smith and Paula Peters; all of Pikeville; nieces and nephews, Billy Bridges, Brittney (Jake) Minga, Caleb (Kendra) Scarbrough, Rick (Cynthia) Peters and Kevin (Molly) Peters; and a host of friends.

   Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 10, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. CST in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Jim Whitaker and Rev. Billy Roberts officiating.  Burial will be in Collier Cemetery.  Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com.  Arrangements are by Putnam-Reed Funeral Home, 1171 Main Street, Pikeville, TN.  Visitation will be held Saturday, November 9, 2019 from 12:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. CST and Sunday, November 10, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. CST.
