Sam Wilson Barker, age 86, of Dunlap, TN was carried by Angels to be with the Lord Friday August 10, 2007. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Ethel Barker; brothers, Standefer and Lewis Barker; sister, Beatrice May.
Survivors, wife Faye Barker; daughter, Shirley (Bobby) Green; grandson, Adam Wilson (Danielle) Green; great-granddaughter, Taylor Marie Green all of Dunlap; brother, Wallace (Dot) Barker, Signal Mt., Burnett (Rena Mae) Barker, Dunlap; sisters, Arbutus (Caryle) Bryant
and Trudy Williams both of Dunlap; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside service will be Monday at 11:00 a.m. CDT at Chapel Hill Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the East Valley Baptist Church Building Fund, 28 Davis Rd., Dunlap, TN. 37327. Arrangements by Putnam-Standefer-Reed Funeral Home, 50 May Rd, Dunlap.
