Edna Sue Eggert, age 66, went to be with her savior on Thursday, August 09, 2007 at NHC Healthcare. She lived a christian life and was a genuine and kind person to everyone that she came in contact with throughout her life. She is now enjoying her well-deserved rewards in heaven. She was preceded in death by her father, Edley Cates, and son Steve Eggert of Whitwell.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Paula & Tim Powell of Chattanooga, TN., mother Arrie Cates, two sisters, Betty (Zeke) Tate and Mary (Doug) Campbell, two brothers, Arthur (Pat) Cates and David Cates , daughter-in-law, Bridget (Jerry) Pugh of Cookeville, TN., great-grandsons, Clay Easterly and Tanner Stewart of Whitwell, TN., and grand dogs, Bauer and Bogie Powell of Chattanooga, TN.
Funeral services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. CST in the funeral home chapel with Johhnny Yeoman officiating. Burial will be in Red Hill Cemetery. Visitiation will be today from 12-9 P.M.
