Obituary of Alice Lee Blackburn

Alice L. Blackburn, age 89, of Pikeville, TN, died Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at Memorial Hospital.

   She was a member of Sequatchie Valley Church of Christ and former president of the Senior Citizens Center in Bledsoe County.

   She was preceded in death by her husbands, James W. Smith and Carl Blackburn; children, William Kenneth "W.K." Smith and Jerry Lee Smith; parents, Kenneth Vernon and Cora Fisher; siblings, Rachel Gilbert, Edith Underwood and James Allen "Buddy" Fisher; and infant siblings, Franklin Fisher and Anna Fisher.

   She is survived by her children, Janie (Jack) Oskin of Nashville, Ann (Clyde) Ragsdale of Crossville and Ricky Smith of Pikeville; grandchildren, Kenneth Smith, Jason Smith, Tony Smith, Timmy Smith, Mickey Swafford, Ronee' Swafford, Eddie Morgan, Misty Blackstone and Christy Rodgers; several great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

  Funeral services will be held Friday, July 12, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. CDT in the funeral home chapel with Paul Cagle officiating.  Burial will be in Collier Cemetery.  Online condolences can be made at reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements are by Putnam-Reed Funeral Home, 1171 Main Street, Pikeville, TN. Visitation will be Thursday, July 11, 2019 from 2:00 p.m.- 9:00 p.m. CDT and Friday, July 12 from 9:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. CDT.
