Obituary of Bobby Joe Keedy

  Bobby Joe Keedy, age 80, died Monday, September 24, 2018.

  He was a member of Lee Station Church of God.  He enjoyed hulling walnuts in his spare time.

  He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Maggie Keedy; son, Robert Wayne Keedy; sisters, Bonnie Louise Keedy, Blanche Lewis, Cleo Shannon and Ruth Ervin; brothers, Frank Keedy, Jr., Edgar “Ed” Keedy, Jim Keedy, Bud Keedy and Earl Keedy; and niece, Cathy Wilburn.

  He is survived by his grandson, Josh Keedy of Murfreesboro; granddaughter, Megan Keedy Cathey of Murfreesboro; several great-grandchildren; sister, Jearl Dean Walling of Pikeville; several nieces and nephews; special care-givers, Alene and Bobby Bishop; and special friend, Avery Knight of McMinnville, TN.

  Funeral services will be held Friday, September 28, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. CDT in the funeral home chapel.  Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery.  Online condolences can be made at reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements are by Putnam-Reed Funeral Home, 1171 Main Street, Pikeville, TN. Visitation will be Thursday, September 27, 2018 from 5:00-9:00 p.m. CDT.
