Paul H. Flanagan, age 76, of Dunlap, TN, formerly of Signal Mountain died Sunday morning July 22, 2007 at North Valley Medical Plaza. He was of the Church of God Faith and a Proud member of the Cherokee Nation. He was and avid fisherman and Devoted Family man and Loved his Church and Country. He was preceded in death by his parents, Orveil and Annie Mae Flanagan; brother, Bob Flanagan; step-son Bill Norman Jr.
He is survived by his wife, Sammie Lou Cordell Flanagan; three sons, Sam and Randy Flanagan, Thachapie, CA and Paul Prince Flanagan, Peoria, AZ; three step-children Nancy (Jerry) Marcum, Lawrenceville, GA, Jamie Dyan (Todd) Mize, Tuscon, AZ and Chris (Susan) Shockley, Rio Vistia, CA; four brothers, Frank Flanagan, Ringgold, GA, Charlie Flanagan, Dustin, OK, Johnnie Lee Flanagan, Dustin, OK and Tommy Flanagan, Hixson, TN; three grandchildren; three Step-grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10:00 a.m.CDT in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Dan Rains officiating. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Cemetery.
Arrangements by Putnam-Standefer-Reed Funeral Home, 50 May Road, Dunlap.
Family will receive friends from 2-8 Tuesday.
