Dorothy Lee Roberson, age 95, of Whitwell, TN passed away July 2, 2010 at her home.
She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Whitwell for 78 years. She taught in children's Sunday School, sang in the choir, WMU member and member of the Dorcas class.
She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Roberson; daughter Jo Moore; sons Wayne and Tommy Roberson.
She is survived by a daughter Deborah Roberson; sons Jim and Donald (Emma) Roberson all of Whitwell; grandchildren Melody (Mike) Kornas, Ringgold, GA; Karen (Geary) Camp, Renee Hood, both of Cleveland , GA, Donnie (Julie) Roberson, Shane (Allison) Roberson both of Signal Mountain and Bridget Roberson, Jasper; seven great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sister Bonnie (Ray) Mahan, Chattanooga; several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Mike Kornas, Lamar Ridge, Jerry Ridge, Ricky Allen, Shane Roberson and Bryan Hood. Many thanks to Hospice and Lenore Worley for their love and care for our loved one.
Funeral Service will be held Sunday 2:00 p.m. CDT at the First Baptist Church of Whitwell with Brother Craig Thomas officiating. Burial will be in the Whitwell Memorial Cemetery. Arrangements are by Reed Funeral Home, Whitwell, TN. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. The family will receive friends from 1-8 p.m. CDT Saturday and from 11a.m. to funeral time Sunday.
