Rachel Gossett, age 67 of Hixson, died Thursday, May 13, 2010. Rachel was a nurse for several years. Preceding her in death were parents James and Lillie Freeman; brother Newell Freemen.
Survivors include three daughters April (Jim) Hinson, Hixson; Valerie Edge, Chattanooga; Lillie Ruth Deolski, MO; two sons Billy and Rickey Gossett both of Chattanooga; thirteen grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; brother Buddy Freeman, Pikeville; several nieces and nephews.
Services will be Sunday at 2:00 pm CDT in the funeral home chapel with burial in Freeman Family Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements by Putnam-Reed Funeral Home, Hwy 127 South, Pikeville, TN. Visitation Saturday 12-9 pm CDT.
