Charles Wayne "Candy Papa" Scoggins, age 66, of Dunlap, TN, died Sunday, October 23, 2011 at Erlanger. He was of the Baptist Faith. He was preceded in death by parents, Jewell and Birtie Scoggins; brother, Chester Scoggins.
He is survived by wife, Rosetta Scoggins; daughter, Tina (Jeff) Sutherland; two sons, Michael (Jennifer) Scoggins, Dunlap and Charlie Scoggins, Fayetteville, TN; six granddaughters, Danielle Cooley, Dakota Sutherland, Cheyenne Sutherland, Hanna Scoggins, Dyana Scoggins, Summer Scoggins; two grandsons, Jeffery Sutherland and Payton Scoggins; great-granddaughter, Autumn Cooley; two sisters, Peggy Perry, Ringgold, GA and Barbara Moore, Ooltewah, TN; brother, Bill Scoggins, Dayton, TN.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday 1:00 p.m. CDT in the funeral home chapel. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements by Standefer-Reed Funeral Home, 50 May Road, Dunlap. Family will receive friends Monday 3:00-9:00 p.m. CDT.
