Obituary of Linda Roberson Case

Linda Roberson Case, age 71 of Pikeville, died Monday, March 15, 2010 at a local hospital. She was a member of Pikeville United Methodist Church. Linda served faithfully on the Bledsoe County Board of Education for thirty-four years, was an officer in the Tennessee School Board Association and was honored with the Boardmanship Award of Distinction. She was also appointed to the Tennessee All-State School Board in 1991, and elected in 1976 as a delegate for the Democratic National Convention. Linda was preceded in death by her parents Cole and Drucilla Roberson, brothers J. B., Jack T., Lewis, and Carlos P. Roberson.
Survivors include her husband of 52 years, William A. Case, sons Billy R. (Debbie) Case, Cole R. Case, Scott A. Case, granddaughters Chelsey C. Case and Kaitlyn N. Case; grandson Dallas R. Case; brothers Blake, Gross, Frank, and Tommy Roberson; several neices and nephews.
Services will be 1:00 Friday at the Pikeville United Methodist Church with burial following in Pikeville Cemetery. Rev. Tim Smith will be officiating.
