Ila Pursley VanWinkle, age 78 of Pikeville died March 4, 2010. She was a member of Pikeville Church of God and a retired employee of Standefer's Pharmacy.
She was preceded in death by her husband Silvesta Pursley; parents, Aaron and Oma Holland; brothers, Milton and Grady Holland and a special niece, Crystal Watson.
Survived by her husband, James VanWinkle of Pikeville; daughter, Sharon (Michael) Holliday, Pikeville; step-children, Sharon (Stevie) Bickford and Gaylon (Rhonda) VanWinkle; grandchildren, Brandon (Andrea) Holliday and Brittney Holliday; step-grandsons, Cody Bickford and Waylon VanWinkle; sister, Wilma Johnson of Pikeville and brothers, Wenton (Gail) Holland and James "Parker" (Alice Ann) Holland of Pikeville; several nieces and nephews.
