Shirley Ann Price Sims, age 67, of Dunlap, TN died Saturday night at her home. She was of the Church of God Faith. She was a vital part of her husband’s ministry for over 40 years. Her hobbies were oil painting, gardening, hand crafts and enjoyed cooking
She was preceded in death by her parents Elmer and Beulah Price.
She is survived by her husband Richard Edmond Sims; two sons Mike (Rachael) and Jeff (Laura) Sims; two grandsons, Matthew (Amanda) and Jeffery Sims; two step-grandchildren Geary Dayne Meeks and Harley Meeks; three sisters, Freida Seals and Evelyn Lewis both of Dunlap, Joyce (Gilmer) Roberts, Morristown; brother, Landon (Cindy) Price, Dunlap; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday 1:00 p.m. CST in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Wayne Lowery and Rev. Michael Grant officiating. Burial will be in the Camp Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com.
Arrangements by Putnam-Standefer-Reed Funeral Home, 50 May Road, Dunlap. Family will receive friends 12:00 p.m. CST to 9:00 p.m. CST Monday.
