Elowease Pickett, age 89 of Whitwell, died Friday 26, 2010 at her home. She was a member of Whitwell First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband William Pickett; parents Thomas Jefferson Layman and Alice W. Layman Seagroves.
He is survived by two daughters Willie P. (Larry) Smith, Lafayette GA. And Royce P. (Don) Deakins, Whitwell; grandson Chad (Meagan) Deakins, Whitwell; four great-grand children; Brooke, Cassie, Cara, Chalee Deakins.
Services will be Sunday at 2:00 pm CST in the funeral home chapel with burial in Red Hill Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements by Reed Funeral Home 11675 Hwy 28, Whitwell, TN. Visitation will be Saturday 5-7 pm CST.
