Everett Fields, age 84 of Pikeville, died Thursday, February 25, 2010. He was a member of Shady Vale Church of God, and a United States Navy Veteran serving in WWII. Everett was preceded in death by his wife Mary Frances Fields.
Survivors include daughter Connie Fields, Maryville; son Gail Fields, Idaho; daughter-in-law Elizabeth Fields, Idaho; grandchildren Lisa (Chad) Wamack, Josh Fields, Kim (Ted) Fields Burke; great-grandchildren Ruthie and Mary Frances Wamack; brothers Junior Fields, Bobby Fields, Ray Fields, John L. Fields, and Jackie Fields all of Pikeville; sisters Faye Walker, Pikeville; Bonnie Panter, Texas; Flora Farmer, Knoxville.
Services will be Saturday at 12:00 pm CST in the funeral home chapel with burial in Pikeville Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements by Putnam-Reed Funeral Home, Hwy 127 South, Pikeville, TN. Visitation is Friday 7-8 pm CST. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society.
