Margaret Akins Gunther, age 78 of Pikeville, died Thursday, February 18, 2010. She was of the Baptist Faith. Preceding her in death was her husband Johnny Gunther, parents Nannie and Mance Akins, brothers Gordon Akins and Norman Akins, sister Dorothy Dotson.
Margaret is survived by brothers Thomas (Jean) Aikens, Pikeville; Johnny (Peggy) Aikens, Murfreesboro; sisters Flo Ann Akins, Pikeville; Mattie Solomon, Soddy Daisy; several nieces and nephews.
Service will be Saturday 2:00 pm CST with Mike Stanifer officiating. Burial will follow in Pikeville Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements by Putnam-Reed Funeral Home, Hwy 127 South, Pikeville, TN. Visitation Friday 5-9 pm CST.
