Wilbert Hatfield, age 63 of Dayton, TN formerly of Dunlap died Saturday night February 13, 2010 at Rhea County Medical Center. He was of the Baptist Faith and was retired from Sequatchie Concrete Service.
He was preceded in death by two children William Marvin Hatfield and Doyle Wilbert Hatfield; parents, Willie Hatfield and Lillis Alfea Brown; brothers, Will G.B. Hatfield, Willis Hatfield, step-father Howard Toby Brown.
He is survived by his wife, Sylvia Hatfield; one daughter, Cynthia Wilburn, Moulton, AL; four sons, Harold Lee Hatfield, Moulton, AL, Doyle Wilbert, David Thomas and Jason Lee Hatfield all of Dunlap; three grandchildren, Brandon Lee Hatfield, Brady Hatfield, Cyara Wilburn; three sisters, Linda Faye Doss, Nancy E. Watson, Zoraetta Brown; three brothers, John Ed Hatfield, Norman Hatfield and Mitchell Thomas Brown all of Dunlap; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. CST in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Dennis Boston officiating. Burial will be in the Davis Chapel Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com.
