Ethel Alene Hale, age 90 of Chattanooga, died Sunday, January 24, 2010. She was a member of the Church of Christ. Alene was preceded in death by husbands Milton Pendergrass and Ike Hale; sister Gladys Bickford, brothers Robert, A. J., Gene, Tommy, Beecher, and Andrew Gilbert.
Survivors include daughters Eleanor (Wayne) Riden, Signal Mountain; Margie (Billy) Reagan, Hixson; Ethel (James) Seals, Montana; six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; sisters Myra Gober, Chattanooga; Alice Hale, Pikeville; Frances (Tom) Wilingham, Crossville; several nieces and nephews. Services will be Wednesday at 11:00 am CST in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Greg Nance officiating. Burial will follow in Beaver Hill Cemetery.
