Louise Floyd, age 84, of Whitwell, TN died Wednesday, July 11, 2007.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Ernest "Sheriff" Floyd; parents, Lilly & Earl Cookston; brothers, Carl Gene Cookston, Kenneth Cookston and Johnny Cookston.
Survivors are daughters, Louise (Manuel) Kilgore of Whitwell, Maxine (Roger) Ridge of Powells Crossroads, and Jane (Gene) Pickett of Whitwell; son, Bill (Betty) Floyd of Whitwell; grandchildren, Butch (Wanda) Kilgore and Wesley (Leslie) Ridge; great-grandchildren, Jeremy Kilgore, Johnny Lockhart, Natashia Morrison, and Emma Ridge; great-great-grandchildren, Rylee Worley and Jase Kilgore; brothers, Ronnie Cookston, Whitwell and Gary (Gayle) Cookston, Nashville, TN.
Funeral services will be Friday July 13, 2007 at 2:00 PM. CDT in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Ronnie Cookston, officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday 6-9 p.m.and Thursday 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM CDT. Arrangements by Reed Funeral Home, 11675 Hwy 28, Whitwell, TN. 423-658-5516.
