Floanna Harden Padgett, age 80 of Dunlap, died at her home Tuesday, January 12, 2010. She was of the Baptist Faith. Floanna was preceded in death by her husbands Bill Harden and Lansing Padgett; son Charles David Bell.
Survivors include daughters Linda Sue (Ted) Johnston, Whitwell; Wanda Carol (Bobby Gene) Brown, Pikeville; Violet Ruth (Thomas) Adams, Dunlap; Charlotte Ann (Bernard) Mears, Pikeville; Evelyn Newby, Dunlap; Gail (Jerry) Layne, Dunlap; Betty (James) Desjardin, Michigan; adopted daughter Jane (Ronnie) Shaver, Dayton; thirty-two grandchildren, fifty-seven- great grandchildren; sister Ruby Garett, Carthage; several nieces and nephews. Services will be Friday at 11:00 am CST in the funeral home chapel with Rev. James Dunn officiating. Burial will be in the Sequatchie County Memorial Gardens in Dunlap.
