Christine Pace, age 83, of Whitwell died Friday December 11, 2009 at her home. Preceded in death by her husband James C. Pace.
She is survived by her daughter, Shirley Spalla, Urbandale, IA; son, John Layman, Whitwell; 2 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; sister, Louise Siffles, Powell, TN; brother, Franklin Thompson, Detroit, MI; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held Sunday at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in the Whitwell Memorial Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com
