Donnie E. Seals, age 52, of Dunlap, TN died Thursday December 3, 2009 at his home after a long battle with colon and liver cancer. He was a member of Bellview Community Church and was preceded in death by his father, Selby Seals; brother, Terry Seals and nephew T.J. Hollaway.
He is survived by his wife, Lila Seals; daughter, Letitia Seals, McMinnville; 3 grandchildren, Benjamen and Alexander Myers and Jackson Powell; mother, Lela Mae Seals, Dunlap; 4 sisters, Linda Meeks, Sylvia Griego and Patricia (Dale) Wright all of Nashville and Rena (Lavaughn) Seals, Dunlap; 3 brothers, Selby Seals, Sparta, Eddie (Tracy) Seals and Billy (Rita) Seals both of Dunlap; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 12:00 p.m. CST in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Mike Rigsby and Rev. Bruce Nunley officiating. Burial will be in the McGlothen Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com.
Arrangements by Putnam-Standefer-Reed Funeral Home, 50 May Road, Dunlap. Family will receive friends Friday from 12:00-9:00 p.m. CST and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until service time.
