Robert Lee "Rob" Smith age 70 of Pikeville died Sunday November 29, 2009. He was of the Baptist faith and retired from Crossville Rubber Plant after thirty two years of service.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Litton and Duel Smith; a daughter, Frances St.Clair; two sisters, Ida Lee Thomas and Virginia Nole; two brothers, Clarence Lee Smith and Nelson Lee Smith.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Ruby Jean Smith; two daughters, Brenda Lee Kelly of Pikeville; Bernice (Phil) Shaver of Pikeville; grandchildren, Chuck St.Clair, Chad and Chase Shaver and Ransom and Darra Kelly; two precious great-grandchildren, Tate and Tucker Shaver; two sisters, Aileen Hale of Pikeville; Evelyn Smith of Memphis; one brother, Marvin (Mildred) Smith of Crossville; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. CST in the chapel with Rev. Delbert Rains and Bill Montana officiating. Burial will be in Bud Smith Cemetery. Visitation will begin Tuesday 10-9 and Wednesday 9:00 a.m. until funeral time. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com.
