Randell Oakes, age 65 of Pikeville, died Friday, Nov. 20, 2009. He was a member of Bethel Church of Christ where he served as a Deacon and was retired from Taft Youth Center.
His father R. A. Oakes; brother Johnny Oakes, and beloved grandson Bryan Oakes preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Josie Oakes of Pikeville, TN; sons Keith (Anita) Oakes, Pikeville, Kevin (Susan) Oakes Crossville, TN; beloved great- grandson Jarrett Gray, Dunlap, TN; mother Agnes Oakes, Pikeville, very special sis Carol ( Harvey) Oakes, brother Rudy (Dionna) Oakes, Pikeville and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be Monday at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with T.A. Smith and Bobby Collier officiating. The Burial will be in Blankenship Cemetery.
