Dorothy Jane "Dot Dot" Price, age 73, passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2009 in a Chattanooga hospital from injuries received in an automobile accident. She was a graduate of Sequatchie County High School, a member of Dunlap First Baptist Church and a retiree of the United States Postal Service as a rural mail carrier. She was preceded in death by her parents Tom W. and Leila A. Price; three brothers Armon (Fattty), Grady and Marvin (Bob) Price.
She is survived by her sister Tressie Mae (L. G.) Headrick and brother Wayne (Romanza) Price, both of Rossville, Ga; sister-in-law Lorraine Price of Dunlap; nieces Cindy and Debbie Price; nephews Marvin and Tony Price; many other relatives and friends; and her loving and faithful companion, her little dog Foxy Lady.
The family would like to express their appreciation for all the visits, phone calls, cards and especially all the prayers they have received during this trying time. They would like to extend special thanks to Fern Lockhart for all the hard work, help and comfort she has given us during this time. Services will be Saturday at 11:00 am CST in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Randy Harmon officiating. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Cemetery.
