Robert Lee Burnett, age 83, of Dunlap, TN died Wednesday November 4, 2009 at his home. He was a member of Ewtonville Baptist Church, He served in the United States Air Force and was retired from American Lava Company and was preceded in death by his parents, Sherman and Nellie Burnett.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Burnett, Dunlap; daughter, Jackie (Steven) Maples, Chattanooga; son, Ronnie "Bo" (Deb) Burnett, Jasper and Jerome Burnett, Jasper; two step-daughters, Barbara (Joseph) Harper, Chattanooga, Sharon (Thomas) Davis Ottawah, IL; 4 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; 4 step-grandchildren; brother, Charles (Linda) Burnett, Sequatchie; sister, Betty Deakins, Jasper; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Friday at 1:00 p.m. CST in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Brian Kearns officiating. Burial will be in the Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens.
