William Hollis "Bill" Young, age 45 of Pikeville, passed away at his home Tuesday, October 13, 2009 after recently being diagnosed with cancer. Bill was preceded in death by his father William (Tommy) Young; grandparents Joe and Thelma Young and L. V. and Cecil Seals.
He is survived by his mother Norma "Jean" Seals, Pikeville; uncles George Edward Young, Winifred "Duck" Seals and Ernest Seals; aunts Sarah Margaret Young, Pauline Collins, Melba Albrecht, Ann Dennis, Noami Boyd, Margaret Pine, Martha Cohoon, and Patsy Dillehay; several cousins and friends. A memorial service to celebrate Bill's life will be held Saturday, October 17 in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Bill Wolfe officiating. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com.
