Ruby Boring, age 90 of Pikeville, died Saturday, September 5, 2009. She was preceded in death by her husband Austin Boring; parents Hobert and Sally Cagle Humble; brothers James, Eugene, Bill, Jack and Arnold Humble; infant brother Thomas Humble.
Survivors include daughters Sarah Maxine (Mickey) Harwood, Pikeville; Mary (Bill) McArthur, Chattanooga; son Eddie (Connie) Roberts, Pikeville; grandchildren, Eddie "Butch" Roberson, Kim Langston, Dr. Greg Harwood, Tim Roberts, Joey Roberts, Tim Atterton, Lanny Wiley, and Eric Wiley; great-grandchildren, Casey Shaver, Ashley Roberson, James and Anna Harwood, Savannah and Aspen Roberts, Dustin, Jordan, and Madilyn Roberts, Josh McArthur; great-great-grandchildren, Tyler Young, Tate and Tucker Shaver, Avery and Zander Roberson; sisters Ann Hammond, Hixson; Josephine Turner, Pikeville; several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be Monday at 3:00 pm CDT at Collier Cemetery with Bro. L. J. Reel officiating. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com.
