James Lloyd "Zeke" Camp, age 79, of Dunlap, TN, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 23, 2017. James was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Myrtle Camp; brothers, Howell, Bill Vernon, Dillard, and Forrest Camp; sisters, Burma (Wayne) Walker and Betty (Millard) Hixson.
He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Lorene Camp; two sons, Eddie (Teresa) Camp of Murfreesboro, TN and Stacey (Christina) Camp of Red Bank, TN; one daughter, Tonja Fulkerson of Dunlap, TN; grandchildren, Tara (Brent) Coleman of Murfreesboro, TN, Josh (Jordan) Camp of Signal Mountain, TN, John Chandler "Chan" Fulkerson of Dunlap, TN, Alyssa Fine of Red Bank, TN, Erica Camp of Bakewell, TN and Catherine and Elizabeth Camp of Red Bank, TN; great-grandchildren, Payton Coleman of Murfreesboro, TN, Judah, Evelyn, Owen, and Valerie Fine of Red Bank, TN; many nieces and nephews and a host of friends and his beloved dog "Ace".
James enjoyed during his lifetime many years of golfing with his family and friends which includes holding a Mt. Airy course record, along with Tournament championships from other local courses. He also enjoyed many years of hunting and fishing with his family, while accumulating a special room of mounts to show.
Funeral services will be held Monday 11:00 a.m. CST in the funeral home chapel with Ministers Dan Raines and Larry Dishman officiating. Burial will be in the Richard Harvey Cemetery. Family will receive friends Saturday 2:00-8:00 p.m. CST and Sunday 4:00-8:00 p.m. CST.
