Howard Ovel Wilson, 77, of Haletown, TN, died Saturday, February 18, 2017. The son of the late Gordon and Edna Tuders Wilson, Ovel is also preceded by his companion Susebelle Williams. He was a member of the United Church of God in Trenton, Ga.
Ovel leaves his children Kathy Wilson, of South Pittsburg, TN; Ronald Wilson (Carla), of Orme, TN; Kevin Wilson, of Conroe, TX; Lillie Mauk (Mike), of Whitwell, TN; Dannette Hull (Bud), of Rossville, GA; Johanna Davis, of Whitwell, TN; Eric Wilson, of Haletown, TN; Kerrie Wilson, of Whitwell, TN; numerous grandchildren; two great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews to honor his memory.
Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Reed Funeral Home at 3:00 p.m. CST on Wednesday, February 22, 2017, with Brother Don Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in Laynes Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday, February 20, from 4 until 8 p.m. CST, and Tuesday, February 21, from 12-8 p.m. CST. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com.
