Carter Duane Boynton, age 18 of Pikeville, died Thursday, August 13, 2009. He was a graduate of Sequatchie Valley Christian Academy. He was preceded in death by father Carter Boynton, grandfather Mike Boynton, great-grandfathers George Carter McGowan, Charles Campbell and Alden Boynton, uncle Gary Walker.
He is survived by mother Debbie (Tracy) Bedwell, Pikeville; sister Keely Bedwell, Pikeville; brothers Garett Bedwell and Chase Anderson, Pikeville; Rainey Boynton, Waverly; grandparents Trish and Gary Johnson, Marlin Walker, Susan and Vincent Boring, Edward and Wanda Faye Anderson, Glenda and Bobby Partin all of Pikeville; great-grandparents Christine Campbell, Maxine Boynton, J. B. and Mary McDowell all of Pikeville, Bertie and Delta Walker, Spencer; several uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Services will be Monday at 10:00 am CDT in the funeral home chapel with Ron Gilbert and Gary Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Boynton Cemetery.
