Charles Edward Damron, age 72 of Whitwell, TN, died Monday August 10, 2009 at Memorial Hospital. He was
a member of Sulphur Springs United Methodist Church and served in the U.S. Air Force and was employed with U.S. Pipe for 40 years. He was preceded in death by his parents; Otis Lavoy and Mary Damron.
Survivors; wife Shirley M. Damron; daughter Charlisa (Bill) Haag, Atlanta, GA; son Scot E. Damron, Whitwell; grandchildren; Dylan and Camryn Haag, Brittany and Alyssa Damron; sister Jennea Morrison, Whitwell; brother Laverne ( Martha) Damron, Tunnel Hill, GA; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1:00 p.m. CDT at Sulphur Springs United Methodist Church with Rev. Cecil Baxter officiating. Burial will be in Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be Friday 2-4 p.m. CDT and 6-9 p.m. CDT.
