Robert (Bobby) W. Talley, 83, passed away on Friday, December 16, 2016 in a local hospital. Bobby was an U.S. Army veteran and a lifelong resident of Whitwell, TN. He was a local farmer and had been employed by Don Woods Volkswagen.
Bobby was preceded in death by Mr. and Mrs. Robert H. Talley and infant sister, Freda Jane Talley.
He is survived by his sister, Delores M. Ridge of Hixson, TN, nephews Marvin (Carolyn) Ridge; W. Lynn (Brenda) Ridge of Hixson, TN and niece Christy (Mike) Kolff of Ringgold, GA; several great nephews and great nieces; special friends Patricia Talley, Angela Hampton, and Clinton Garner.
Graveside service will be held at Whitwell Memorial Cemetery Sunday, December 18, 2016 at 2:30 p.m. CST with Nelson Burger officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude's. Visit www.reedfamilyfh.com to share words of comfort to the family.
