Christopher Logan Thornton, age 22, of Dunlap, TN, passed away Saturday morning, October 22, 2016 at his home. He was a 2014 graduate of Sequatchie County High School. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Carol Higdon; uncle, Willie Higdon.
He is survived by his parents, Chris and Julie Thornton; two sisters, Destiny (Jonathan) Snyder and Tori Thornton; the joy of his life, his niece, Jaylee Snyder; maternal grandparents, Jerry and Valerie Higdon, Whitwell; paternal grandparents, Doug and Donna Thornton, Bradenton, FL; great-grandmother, Josephen Higdon; great-grandfather, Lem Cagle, Dunlap; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Funeral services will be held Friday 12:00 p.m. CDT in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Donnie Lawson officiating. Burial in Hoodenpyle Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements by Standefer-Reed Funeral Home, 50 May Road, Dunlap. Family will receive friends Wednesday 4:00-8:00 p.m. and Thursday 10:00 a.m.- 8:00 p.m. CDT.
