ames "Jim" Meeks, age 45, of Dunlap, TN died Wednesday July 22, 2009. He was precded in death by his daddy, H.E. Meeks.
He is survived by his wife, Tommie Meeks; two sons, Jon and Jason (Molly) Meeks; grandson, Trae Meeks; mother, Rose Mitchell, East Ridge; seven sisters, Nancy Alexander, Lexie Payne, Helen Beal, Therese Adams, Shirley Adams, Darlene McKinney, Rocksie Meeks; two brothers, Edward and David Meeks; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be Sunday at 2:00 p.m. CDT in the funeral home chapel with burial in Sequatchie County Memorial Gardens. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com.
Arrangements by Putnam-Standefer-Reed Funeral Home 50 May Road, Dunlap, TN. Family will receive friends Friday from 4:00-9:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m-9:00 p.m. CDT.
