Wayne Lee Barfield, age 69, of Dunlap, TN, passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2016. He was a member of Gathering Harvest Church and served in The United States Coast Guard. He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnnie and Mary Ethel Barfield; brother, Franklin Barfield.
He is survived by his wife, Cheryl Barfield; daughter, Karen Bahrer, Largo, FL; son, Kevin Barfield, Orlando, FL; two grandsons, Bradon Rahrer and Zackery Barfield; sister, Joan Haven, Dunnellon, FL; two brothers, Drayus Barfield, Kenansville, FL and Rayburn Barfield, Canton, GA; step-sons, Daryl and Dale Allen Slaughter; several nieces and nephews; caretakers, Pastor Rick and Vanessa Casey.
Graveside services will be held Friday 11:00 a.m. at Cagle Mt. Pleasant Cemetery with Pastor Rick Casey officiating. Military honors provided by The Sequatchie Valley Honor Guard.
