Obituary of Nellie Claris Huffman

Claris Huffman, age 73, of Dunlap, TN, passed away Wednesday evening, September 21, 2016 at Hospice Care Center. She was retired from Bi-Lo. She was preceded in death by her son, Gary Huffman; parents, Herman and Effie Pryor; sister, Joyce Long; brothers, Delmer and Clyde Pryor.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Jack Huffman; three daughters, Theresa Hicks, Doris Huffman, and Jackie (Joe Johnson) Huffman; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three brothers, Clinton Pryor, NY, Clayton and Donald Pryor, both of Dunlap; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Sunday 2:00 p.m. CDT in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Michael Grant officiating. Burial in Camp Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements by Standefer-Reed Funeral Home, 50 May Road, Dunlap. Family will receive friends Friday 3:00-8:00 p.m. CDT and Saturday 9:00 a.m.- 8:00 p.m. CDT.
