Mildred Capps Blackwell, 78 of Tunnel Hill, Georgia passed away in her home on Friday, September 16, 2016.
She was born in Bledsoe County on October 2, 1937 to George and Valerie Capps.
Mildred was preceded in death by her parents, George and Valerie Capps; and her husband, Bill Blackwell.
She is survived by her daughter, Rhonda McClary of Tunnel Hill, Georgia; step-children; step-grandchildren; one brother, Boots (Jewell) Capps of Graysville, TN; several nieces and nephews; and dear neighbors, Gail & Jim Clayton and family.
Services will be Monday September 19, 2016 at 1:00 CDT in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Hickory Grove Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements by Putnam-Reed Funeral Home, Hwy 127 South, Pikeville, TN. Visitation will be Monday, from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. CDT.
