Cecil R. Brown, age 78, of Whitwell, TN died Monday morning June 1, 2009. She was preceded in death by her son, Harold Bice; parents, John and Catherine Farley.
She is survived by her husband, Larry Patten; daughter, Patsy Bice, Whitwell; two sons, Roger Bice and A.L. Bice, Dunlap; 6 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; sister, Lula Ward, Dunlap; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be Thursday at 1:00 p.m. CDT in the funeral home chapel with Rev. John Potts officiating. Burial will be in Griffith Creek Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com.
Arrangements by Putnam-Standefer-Reed Funeral Home, 50 May Road, Dunlap. Family will receive friends Tuesday from 4:00-9:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 2:00-9:00 p.m. CDT.
