Alma Perkins Kilgore, 88, of Whitwell, TN, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 29, 2016. The daughter of the late John and Myrtle Perkins, Alma is preceded in death by her husband, Lether (Leek) Kilgore.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Cheryl (David) Newson, Radis "Rock" (Joy) Kilgore, Danny "Boone" (Teresa "T") Kilgore, Kathy Winchester, Gaye Braziel, Lisa Kilgore; 14 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted from the chapel of Reed Funeral home at 10:00 a.m. CST on Thursday, June 2, 2016, with Brother Michael Shrum officiating. Burial will follow in Red Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday, May 31, from 12:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. CST and Wednesday, June 1, from 10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. CST. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com.
