Donnie Walker, age 75, of Pikeville died Monday, May 9, 2016. He attended Faith Baptist Church and was the retired Post Master for Bledsoe County. He was also a member of the Nine Mile Volunteer Fire Department.
He was preceded in death by his mother and step-father, Carrie and Lee Walker and his father, Blake Walker.
Survivors include his wife, Faye Walker, Pikeville; sons, Mike (Penny) Walker of Ringgold, GA, and Mitch Walker of Pikeville; grandchildren, Michael (Jenny) Walker, Ryan Walker and Blake Walker; sisters, Debbie (Kevin) Swafford, Pikeville, Mary (Lamar) Brown of Tunnel Hill, GA; brother, Joel (Tina) Walker, Pikeville; several nieces and nephews and a family of friends.
Services will be Wednesday, May 11, at 1:00 p.m. CDT in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Milton Ker, Rev. Wallace Angel, Minister Dennis Smith and Rev. Doyle Ashburn officiating. Burial will be in Brushy Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements by Putnam-Reed Funeral Home, Hwy 127 South, Pikeville, TN. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. CDT. and Wednesday from 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. CDT.
