Minnie Adell Minton Moffitt, age 81, of Dunlap, TN, passed away Thursday, April 14, 2016 at Memorial Health Care Center. She was a member of Mt. Pleasant Congregational Methodist Church and retired from the Sequatchie County School System after teaching for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Moffitt; parents, Farris and Virgie Minton; sister, Olavene McGinnis.
She is survived by her daughter, Robin Moffitt, Brandon MS; two sons, Scotty (J.J.) Moffitt, Ariton, AL and Calvin (Christy) Moffitt, Dunlap; nine grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Sunday 2:00 p.m. CDT at Mt. Pleasant Congregational Methodist Church with Rev. Danny Ruehling, Rev. Doug Feazell and Rev. Scotty Moffitt officiating. Burial in Cagle-Mt.
